Co-owners and siblings Jay Gibson and Eileen Gibson Funke are writers who appreciate both the solitude of writing and the value of social contact throughout the day. They envisioned The Writers Junction as the perfect space to write. Eileen is a graduate of Yale University and a writer. Until founding the Writers Junction she worked for film director Walter Salles on The Motorcycle Diaries, the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On the Road and other projects. Jay is a writer, storyboard artist, and the founding president and board member of The Young Storytellers Foundation. He is a graduate of Brown University, and currently writes for The Young and the Restless. |
